counted on tenders advertised, which is what a contractor plans around - a month with nothing held is shown as a dash, never a zero
Where these figures come from
Every figure is read from contract award notices published by UK public bodies - councils, NHS trusts, housing associations, government departments - under the Open Government Licence. Nothing is estimated, modelled or filled in. A figure appears only once enough awards support it, and it always states how many.
The figures are rebuilt each night, last on 19 September 2026. They cover publicly tendered work, which is not the same as domestic or private commercial work: a price here is what a public body paid a contractor on a contract that went through a formal tender.
